Ma and I picked beans 4 hrs. $19.16 came home got ready went up to Grandmas to New Years dinner went downtown to look at bedroom suits Austin brought me home and stayed a while Charlie Amos took bean pickers a sleigh riding

Ma and I picked beans all day 8 hrs. $19.66 I went down and stayed all night with Mrs. Frairey

We were at home all day, it snowed and blowed. Austin came in the afternoon stayed a whale at night.

Ma picked beans all day 8 hrs. I picked beans 3 hrs. $23.40 Austin came down we went to Wayland I owe Ma 12 cts. I stoped to Ida’s a whale we went to the Valley. At night Bertha came down we went to the Valley I wrote a postal to Parsons Looked at Zade Conderman’s things.

The roads are drifted and blockated. Ma worked on her cushion top I put a pocket on my apron worked one of my wostered blocks put the lace around my pin cushion Oscar Frairie was here a whale.

Ma ironed We went to the valey I spent 10 cts. we went up to Aunt Magies she sent for some samples for me I got a letter from Susie. Austin was down a whale at night Ma set up all night with Mrs. Shepard. Pa went to the valey. Ma got paper for her bedroom.

I oiled the furniture We done a little of everything

Pa went to the lake fishing I went up to Wayland. I spent $2.24 I got some medicine of Skinner. Ida and Charlie were at night to get me to work for them.

Sunday 4

I went to church in the morning Austin came down in the afternoon we went up to Jay’s Kate and Edd were here.

Mon. May 5, 1902

Ma and I cleaned the two bedrooms upstairs. I paid $5.25 for springs and matress Ma owes me $.50

Tuesday 6

Ma cleaned the close press Ma tore the paper off her bedroom.

Wed. May 7, 1902

Ma and Pa papered the bedroom.

Thursday 8

We tore up the Parlor Pa painted it. Ma went down and sat up with Mrs. Shepard. Pa went up to Aunt Magies and got the samples she sent for me.

Fri. May 9, 1902

Mrs. Shepard died this morning. Ma set a hen today.

Saturday 10

Ma went to town to get wallpaper went up to Aunt Magies let her have $2.00 to get cloth Amy Bortles & Mary Moote (?) were here a whale in the afternoon. We papered some I got a letter from Laura Wagner It is quite cool. Ma Pa and Ralph went to the valey at night --- (?) went to the show I stayed with Mrs. Ida Green.

I went to Church in the morning. I sang to Mrs. Shepards funeral in the afternoon Austin was down in the afternoon We went for a ride.

Monday 12

Ma and I finished papering the parlor

Tues. May 13, 1902

Mr. Fisher (?) & Will Fogel put on the over head & border Ma & I straitened the parlor. Pa went fishing & got 4.

Wednesday 14

I went to Wayland on the eleven o clock got curtains I spent 35 cts. of my own Ma paid me $1.00 she owes me 3 ½ yet. I stayed to Mrs. Saliers (?) to dinner. Came back on the 4 o clock

Hemed the curtains & put them up & ironed some.

Friday 16

We cleaned the butry Aunt Eliza Partal was here & stayed all day I gave her one of my handkerchiefs. I started some hair pin lace. We spent the evening down to Stars. (? Starks)

Sat. May 17, 1902

I baked cookies & a cake Ma and I was down to Mrs. Starks a while in the afternoon. Mrs. Fransie was here a while Pa went fishing with Arthur Richison I sewed hairpin lace on my handkerchief.

Sunday 18

Ma and I went to church in the morning rode home with Mrs. Stark Mrs. Artlip was here. Austin was down we went up to his folks a while

Mon. May 19, 1902

We took up the setting room carpet moved the desk cleaned some in dining room & sitting room quite warm it rained in the morning Pa got home from fishing had two quite large ones & some small ones.

Tuesday 20

Pa worked to Brewers in afternoon. I washed the ceiling fixtures and cleaned in the sitting room Pa & Ma cleaned the cellar I baked a cake.

Wed. May 21, 1902

I made riseing and baked bread alone for the first time I sewed carpet together. We washed the windows. Ma set a hen today.

Thursday 22

Ma washed the ceiling in the kitchen I washed the sides we put down the carpet in sitting room Pa worked down to Uncle Bert’s today

Fri. May 23, 1902

Mrs. Frayer was here a few minutes. Ma & I went up to Lanner (?) Greens in the afternoon. It rained We finished cleaning Pa walked to Bert’s. Ma washed.

Saturday 24

I baked bread cookies pie and cake Ma ironed We went up to the Elder Greens in the afternoon We went to the Vakey at night got felt curtains

Sun. May 25, 1902

Pa and Ralph went to the lake. Ma and I went down to the Presbyterian Church to memorial services. It rained we came back and stayed to Amases till it stopped Austin was down

Monday 26

Pa went to Wayland and sold his fish. We washed. I sent a letter to Susie Wrights.

Ma ironed I cut carpet rags all day Pa worked for Uncle Bert

Wednesday 28

It is cold wet and rainy I sewed carpet rags about all day was up to Mrs. Older Greens a while in the afternoon Mrs. Frayer was here a little while Pa worked for Uncle Bert.

I sewed a few rags in forenoon Ma and I went up to Mrs. Elder Greens to rag bee in afternoon Pa went to Valey at night I got a letter from Bess.

Friday 30

I made a pie & cake in the morning Lester came down we all went to memorial exercises Pa went to Wayland Bertha Helen & I went to the Valey I got a dish of ice cream we went up to Berthas spent the evening came home

I baked cookies Ma & Pa are making garden. Helen is here tonight and stayed all night. I wrote a letter to Laura

Helen Mrs. Green and I went to Church in the morning Austin came down we went to his folks a while came back called on Ray Kimbel Pa went fishing

Pa sold some fish He went to work for Sidd Perkins. I sent a letter to Laura Wagner. I sewed carpet rags all day

I sewed carpet rags all day. It rained hard in the afternoon I worked 2 wostered blocks.

Mrs. Lamont called here I worked at my blocks Mrs. Frayer came down in the afternoon Ma went to the Valey we got a big box of pieces from Mrs. Jackman We went up home with Mrs. Frayer We washed Ma got the creamery can.

Ma I ironed I baked molasses cookies We went to Mrs. Frank Marvins to a rag bee had a nice time

Fri. June 6, 1902

I went to Wayland on the 11 o clock spent $1.86 Ma owes me .23 Ma went down to Coras and made her waist I went to the Greenwood and Meriman entertainment stayed all night with Grandma came home in the morning Our things came from Chicago I got a letter from Susie

I cut out black for my quilt and worked at it it rained a little Ma made Ralph a shirt Pa and Aurthur & Ralph went to the lake fishing got a nice lot had Bertha get me 2 wrapers 22 cts.

It was showery Austin came down we went down to Ell (?) Kimbels had a nice time we went to Presbyterian Childrens day exercises Kate and Edd were here a few minutes

Ma washed I made nearly two courtains Mrs. Elder Green was here a while I went up there and gathered some

Cold and sour it rained Ralph if sick I finished making the courtains I baked a bach of sugar cookies and one of molasses cookies Pa worked down to Uncle Berts. Bertha was here a few minutes

Wednesday 11

We ironed. I went to the Valey in the afternoon and took my dress down to Mrs. Badger was up to Mrs. Nanas (?) Greens a few minutes

Thurs. June 12, 1902

I put up the courtains in the setting room worked some on my wostered blocks. wrote a letter to Bess. Elder Thomson called here I made a cushion (?) for the lounge Mrs. Elder Green was here a little while

Friday 13

I baked a bach of oatmeal cookies made a pie plant pie baked a cake in afternoon Ma cut out blocks. I cut & pieced an album block I sent letter to Mme (?) Yale & Bess Perkins Pa and Ralph went after winter greens.

Sat. June 14, 1902

I swept and dusted upstairs and down. Pieced some of my wostered blocks Pa went to Wayland with Bert. I went to the Valey at night and got a dish of ice cream.

Sunday 15

Ma Ralph & I went down to church. It rained. Austin came down I went came up to his house with him He and I went over to Edna Courtices a while.

I worked nearly four blocks Ethel Mastin is here tonight

Tuesday 17

Quite cold Ethel Shirley and I drove up to visit Mrs. Hallie Cories (?) school had a nice time Ethel went home at noon

I worked nearly 3 blocks. I went up to Edna Courtices in afternoon & stayed to supper.

Thursday 19

Austin & I drove to the valey in afternoon We went over to Cora Steffys at night

Fri. June 20, 1902

I worked two blocks in forenoon in afternoon went up to Edna Courtices learned how to make sand silk roses stayed to supper at night was sick with sore throat.

Saturday 21

Shirley Austin & I went to Wayland after his folks.

Sun. June 22, 1902

Austin & I went to church to Rights came home Mrs. Lon Jacobs was here B. G. was here a few minutes. Pleasant but cold.

Monday 23

Ma washed and ironed a little I worked a block & a name on my pillow baked a bach of drop cookies & lemon pie

I worked some blocks it rained in afternoon I went up with Austin & his mother went to Rights school entertainment stayed there all night

Wednesday 25

It is pleasant rained some Austin brought me home at night. Ma Pa & Ralph went to Welch brothers show.

I went up to Wayland took dinner with Carrie Jacobs. Got some medicine of Skinner got some mershrised satin and lace spent $1.05

Swept and dusted the house In afternoon cut and sewed on my under waist. Austin came down we went to the valey up to Wayland after Shirley back to town and then home I got a letter from Laura.

We washed I worked a block baked a cake Mrs. Jackman came on the 4 o clock Ma Mrs. Jackman & myself went to the Valey.

Tuesday July 1

We made Mrs. Jackman a corset string tidy I started my corset string pillow Pa went to the lake in the afternoon. We went through the cemetry.

Mrs. Jackman Ma & I went up to Stella Greens stayed to dinner. Came home I went to the Valey in the afternoon I worked on my orange pillow

Mrs. Jackman & I went to Wayland on the 11 o clock stayed to dinner to Foxes ( ?) I spent 35 cts. came home on the 4 o clock. We worked on my pillow at night. Ralph went up to Edd Bills today.

Mrs. Jackman went to Buffalo this morning I went down & had my dress fitted Pa went to Wayland finished the cover to my orange pillow this afternoon pieced two album blocks. Mrs. Badger sent up my dress by Mr. Briggs.

Austin came down We went to Swartses and to Conesus Lake came back stayed all night to Swartses it rained

It rained Austin brought me home at night. Ma Pa & Ralph took dinner up to Frayers. Got 13 qts. of strawberries

I made my ticking quishion (?) put my orange pillow on it. Pieced 5 album blocks commenced setting my 4 squares together it is pleasant.

We washed I cut & pieced 10 4 squares got 4 strips sewed together. It is nice and pleasant. Ma and Ralph went after berries got a few Bertha was here a few minutes at night

I ironed in afternoon cut & pieced 10 blocks Helen was here & stayed to supper. Pleasant rained some Ma and Pa killed the skunk tonight

Ma picked 11 (?) quarts of cherries Mrs. Jackman & I rode down in the stage & took them down to Mrs. Badger. I had a letter from Susie Hughes sent one to Laura Frayers . folks & Austin were here at night We had ice cream

Mrs. Jackman & I washed. Ma picked cherries in the afternoon we went took cherries up to Mrs. Brownell stayed to supper with Mrs. Frairie it is nice and pleasant. We all went down to see Carie Starr (?) at night she had cut her foot.

Mrs. Jackman Ma Ralph and Ralph & I all went up to Will Crookses. Ma & Ralph & I went after berries got a nice lot Mr Crooks brought us home at night. Nice and pleasant.

Ma ironed I went to the valey with Em in afternoon got 12 white strings. Ma paid me 25 owes me $3.25 Austin came down we went to the valey at night. I commenced to set my fan quilt together. Nice and pleasant
