Life in the Hollow: Historic and Archaeological Research at Dixon Hollow, Hemlock, New York

Kristi J. Krumrine, of St. John Fisher College and State University of New York at Geneseo published her research paper “Life in the Hollow: Historic and Archaeological Research at Dixon Hollow, Hemlock, New York” in 2013 in the New York State Archaeological Association publication “The Bulletin”.

The Archaeological excavations and analysis were conducted from 2003 through 2010 by St. John Fisher College and SUNY College at Geneseo field school students, under the direction of the author. Historic research was conducted at the Livingston County Historian’s office, the Livingston County Surrogate Court, the Livingston County Clerk’s office, and the Rare Books, Special Collection, and Preservation department at the Rush Rhees Library, University of Rochester.
