Ruth and Everett are in the buggy and Grace stands next to the horse block. The others are unidentified.

The Obituary of Grace B. Rix Affolter

From the Livonia Gazette, 1 June 1967

A service was held Saturday at the family home for Mrs. Grace R. Affolter, 91, of Canadice Hill Rd., who died Thursday, May 25, 1967. The Rev. Ray Horan officiated at the service.

Burial was in Union Cemetery, Livonia, with arrangements by the Brown Funeral Home, Livonia.

She was born July 4, 1875 and was a lifelong resident of the town of Canadice. She was the widow of George Affolter. She was the oldest living member of the Canadice Methodist Church and the Honeoye Valley Grange.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harry Goetzman of Buffalo; a son, Everett C. of Canadice; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
