Canadice - Charles Henry Colegrove passed away at his home Friday noon in the town of Canadice, where he was born forty-eight years ago, the son of the late Harlow and Lydia Coykendall Colegrove. His wife, Agnes Robinson, died three years ago.

He is survived by three sons, William and Harlow Colegrove of Rochester and Floyd of Hemlock; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jotham Colegrove of Rochester and Elmer of Canadice.

The funeral was held Sunday with prayer at the house and services at the M. E. church of Canadice Corners. The Rev. Lois C. Teague officiated. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Charles Colegrove passed away July 1 at her home in Canadice after a long illness. She leaves, besides her aged husband, three sons, William and Harlow of Rochester and Floyd of Hemlock; four grandchildren, Charles who has always lived with her, Ray of Hemlock, Mrs. Elsie VanSchaick of West Webster and Otis of Springwater. Her sons and one grandson, Otis, were bearers.

The funeral services were conducted by the Canadice pastor, the Rev. Mr. Nelson. She was laid to rest in the Evergreen cemetery, Springwater.
