John Hicks and Alice Hartson

Alice Hartson Hicks

unknown - 30 June 1875

Mrs. John Hicks died at the residence of her parents in this town on Wednesday, June 30. Mrs. Hicks was the daughter of Asa Hartson, and a young lady of ability and respect, much beloved by all who knew her.

She was married to Mr. Hicks in April last year, and called so soon to bid adieu to all things earthly. Her health was not very good for some time before her death, and now she is called to an early grave by that terrible disease - consumption.

Her funeral was attended on Friday, at the M.E. Church Services conducted by Rev. Day, of Honeoye.

Alice Hartson Hicks was buried in the Canadice Hollow Cemetery.
