A photo of the Paine - Schaefer Barn on Canadice Hill road in Canadice NY in 1967. The photo was taken during an ice-storm which occurred that year. The Methodist church can be seen in the distant background of the photo just in front of the barn. The Paine homestead and a smaller barn can be seen to the left in the photo. The view is looking north along Canadice Hill road.

A photo of the Paine - Schaefer Barn on Canadice Hill road in Canadice NY taken in 2015. The photo was taken from approximately the same spot as the 1967 photo. The growth of the trees and bushes obscures the view of the Methodist church. It can be seen that the barn is in very good condition and is well maintained.

A photo of what is believed to be a manure winch and track inside of the Paine - Schaefer Barn on Canadice Hill road in Canadice NY taken in 2015. The track runs the length of the barn and ends at a barn door where probably the manure wagon stood. Much of the track has been removed but the wooden barn joist shows evidence of its presence.
