The Paine - Schaefer Barn in Canadice NY |

The barn known as the Paine barn on Canadice Hill road just south of the Methodist church in Canadice NY was built about 1850. The original owner of the barn and lands are not known. Circa 1920, Leslie Paine took ownership of the land and barns and started farming. Most recently, about 2012, the barn and 9 acres were purchased by Eileen and Dale Schaefer.
