The death of Orlando A. Anderson, for many years a resident of Canadice, occurred at the Wayland hospital on July 7, after a long period of ill health.
Mr. Anderson was born in Cameron on July 26, 1860, and married Miss Adelaide Brown of Canadice, who passed away in 1895.
Surviving is an only daughter, Ina, now Mrs. William Corey of Atlanta, with whom Mr. Anderson had made his home for the past 13 years. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Mrs. Harrison Allen of Penn Yan and Mrs. T. E. Tobin of Houston, Texas., and one great-grandson.
The funeral was held from the daughter’s home on Tuesday, July 9, with interment in Canadice Hollow cemetery.
Many former friends here extend sincere sympathy to Mrs. Corey in her bereavement.

Mrs. Adelaide Anderson, who has been in poor health all winter, was taken worse last Wednesday and died Friday.
Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of the late Harvey Brown. About twelve years ago she was united in marriage to Orra Anderson, and through these years of trials and successes, she had been a faithful helpmate, and a kind and loving wife and mother.
Orra and a little girl six years old are left to battle alone life’s rugged warfare. The bereaved husband has the sympathy of all in this affliction, and the consciousness of having been so kind and helpful to her he so much loved.
The Rev. Mr. Bristol conducted the funeral exercises from the church on Monday, the interment being at Canadice Hollow.
Three brothers and a sister are all that are left of a once large family.
