The Obituary of Eva C. Fisher Benson 7 November 1898 - 22 January 1993 From an unidentified Newspaper. Eva C. (Fisher) Benson, 94, formerly of Silver Lake near the town of Perry, NY, died Friday (Jan. 22, 1993) at Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester. Eva was born in Springwater, NY on 7 Nov 1898, a daughter of Purley and Edith (Wilklow) Fisher. She was a graduate of Geneseo Normal School and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Perry. Her husband, Henry Benson, died in 1965. Surviving are a brother, Art Fisher of Florida; two sisters, Grace Holmes of Springwater and Winifred Fisher of Buffalo; two grandsons, Thomas Benson of Buffalo and Robert Benson of Shade Gap, Pa.; and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home in Perry. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Perry.
