Canadice - Herbert Buck died after a long illness at his home in Hemlock on Friday, morning, November 20, 1925. Mr. Buck had spent nearly the whole of his life in Canadice, coming here when a boy. He worked for the farmers in this vicinity, and after a time purchased what is now the farm of Lester Cork, where he and his wife and family lived for a number of years. Leaving that farm, he purchased another here, where he lived until three years ago, when he left that farm and went to Hemlock.
Mr. Buck was a man much esteemed in this place and had many warm friends here. He is survived by his wife, four sons and seven daughters.
The funeral was held from the Hemlock Methodist church on Monday, and burial was made in the Honeoye cemetery.

Canadice - Mrs. Herbert Buck, who for several years was a resident of Canadice, passed away on Thanksgiving day at the home of her daughter, where the family had gathered to spend the day. She was born and passed the first part of her life in Pennsylvania. She married Herbert Buck of Springwater, whose death occurred several years ago.
She is survived by four sons, Daniel of York, Russell and Ellis of Hemlock, and Clyde of Hopewell, and seven daughters, Mrs. Earl Caskey of Canadice, Mrs. James Taylor of Richmond, Mrs. Earl Barnett of Buffalo, Mrs. Leon Harrington and Mrs. Albert Eaton of Livonia, Mrs. Leon Carpenter and Mrs. Ray Connor of Hemlock, also thirty-two grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the home at Hemlock Monday at 2:30 p.m., with interment in Lakeview cemetery at Honeoye.
