Charles A. Capron, for the past thirty years a well known and respected resident of this village, died at his home on East Naples street early Monday morning at the age of 67 years.
Mr. Capron was the son of George W. and Sarah D. Westfall Capron and was born in Springwater January 21, 1862. On December 24, 1887, he was married to Miss Eva Rogers. Prior to coming to Wayland to reside in 1900.
Mr. Capron was engaged in farming. Upon taking up his residence here he became interested in the produce business as a partner in the firm of W. W. Capron, retiring about eight years ago on account of poor health.
He had been failing for about two years, though able to be about until recently.
Besides his wife he is survived by one brother, Lewis Capron, and a nephew, Lloyd Capron, both of Rochester.
Funeral services were held at the home this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, Rev. C. A. Whitehead officiating, with burial in the local cemetery.

Wayland - Mrs. Eva Capron, 85, widow of Charles Capron, died in her sleep Friday night.
In recent years she had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Harry Uetzmann. Mrs. Capron was a member of the Evangelical U. B. Church, the Gleaners and Weld Bible Class.
Surviving are her sister and a nephew, Burr Rogers, both of Wayland.
Services were held at Allen Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Ernest W. Bittner of Castile, former pastor here, offciated in the absence at conference of Rev. H. J. Wood. Burial was in Village Cemetery.
