Canadice - The sad news of Arthur Doolittle’s death at the German hospital in Buffalo was received by his parents Wednesday morning.
He was the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Doolittle.
Canadice - Arthur Doolittle died at his home in Buffalo of pneumonia. Deceased was 31 years of age. The funeral was held Friday at Canadice Corners.
Mr. Doolittle leaves a wife and three children, a father and mother, two sisters and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure. The remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at the Corners.
Canadice - The funeral of Arthur Doolittle was held last Friday at the Canadice church and was conducted by Rev. J. Barnes. It was very largely attended by sympathetic friends and neighbors.
On Monday the bereaved wife went to Buffalo to remove her household effects to the home of his father, where she with her children will make her future home.

Canadice - The family of Willard Caskey received news of the death of their sister-in-law, Mrs. Nora Stalker, on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1960, at the home of her son, Franklin Doolittle of Vestal. She was 82 years old.
Nora Quant Stalder spent part of her girlhood in Canadice, making many friends by her kind ways.
On Dec. 25, 1897, she was married to Arthur Doolittle of this town, who died in April 1904. Some years later she was married to Lewis Stalker, who is deceased.
Three children were born to the first marriage: Frederick, who was injured at Port-au-France in a motorcycle accident and died the next day; a daughter, Mrs. Lila Vaness, also deceased, and Franklin, with whom she resided.
The funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 19th. On account of road conditions, friends from this way were unable to attend.
