Cohocton - Sept. 19th Elmer Francisco, grandson of one of the early residents of the near town of Canadice, Jacob Francisco, died Thursday after a short illness in Naples where he moved last Spring.
He was born in Canadice in 1872 where he had always lived and was a well known blacksmith and farmer. He is survived by his wife, five children: Harrison of Canadice, William of Fairport, Clarence, Mrs. Lydia Lawrence and Miss Florence Francisco of Rochester, one brother, William of Naples and one sister Mrs. Lovisa Hahn of Hemlock.
Naples - At his home in Marks street, this village, on Thursday, September 15, 1921, occurred the death of Elmer Francisco.
He was a son of Soloman and Minerva Knowles Francisco, and was born in Canadice on May 5, 1872. He owned a farm in Canadice for many years, which he sold when he removed to Naples last spring. He was also a carpenter and a black-smith.
Besides his wife, who was Miss Marie Stoner, he is survived by three sons, Harrison Francisco, of Canadice; William Francisco, of Fairport, and Clarence Francisco, of Rochester; two daughters, Mrs. Lydia Lawrence and Miss Florence Francisco, of Rochester; one brother, G. William Francisco, of Naples, and one sister, Mrs. Lovisa Hahn of Hemlock.
Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, conducted by Dr. J. H. France. Interment was made in Rose Ridge cemetery.
