Canadice - Death has again entered our community and made desolate a happy home.
Mrs. Frank H. Ingraham died suddenly last week Monday night, leaving a little girl less than twelve hours old.
A little more than two years ago she came among us a stranger, the happy sister of his former wife. Her kind and amiable disposition won friends for her where ever she went, and her death, at thirty years of age, seems a strange dispensation of God’s wise providence.
In her death the community loses a noble Christian woman. The bereaved husband can hardly realize the loss he has sustained, as he is almost overcome by the terrible affliction. It seems strange that those who apparently have so much joy in store for them should be thus saddened. Truly, God moves in a mysterious way.
The Rev. Mr. Bristol conducted the funeral services from her late home on the Thursday following her death. The sympathy of a kind-hearted community is extended to the afflicted father, brother and heart-broken husband.
