The Obituary of Marie ? Katner

From the Naples Neopolitan, Naples, NY, 5 January 1882.

Mrs. Marie Katner, relict of David S. Katner, died Sunday evening, Jan. 1st. Her death was not unexpected as she was afflicted with a fatal disease, cancer of the stomach, which hindered recovery. Her age was about fifty-six years.

She leaves surviving her, one son, Charles Katner, and two daughters, Mrs. Royal Sawyer and Mrs. Lewis Andrus.

The funeral services were held at the Baptist church Tuesday p.m., Rev. W. W. Holt officiating. She was buried at North Cohocton.
