Millard A. Kimbel, 80, of Carney Hollow Rd. Springwater, died Monday (Mar, 4, 1985) in Noyes Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Kimbel was a native and life resident of Springwater and retired from farming in 1974. He also was a former employee of Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Dansville.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Mary Kimbel; two daughters, Joyce Wilson of Wayland and Marjorie Goodwin of Dansville; five sons, Jerry of Brunswick, Ga., Burton and Norbert of Wayland, Victor of Tennessee and Glen Johnson of Dansville; a brother, Alton of Wayland; a sister, Clara Shaver of Wayland; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A service was conducted in the Walter E. Baird and Sons Funeral Home, Wayland, Thursday morning with the Rev. William Lowry officiating. Burial was in Pleasand Valley Cemetery, Springwater.

Mrs. Edith Wolfanger Kimbel, wife of Millard Kimbel of the town of Springwater, died at the Wayland hospital Sunday night at the age of 32 years.
Mrs. Kimbel was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wolfanger of Springwater, and graduate of the Wayland High School. She was well known in this locality where she taught school for a number of years.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Victor, aged seventeen months, and Glenn E., five days; her parents; two brothers, Howard Wolfanger of Rochester and Claude Wolfanger of New York City; three sisters, Mrs. Esther Wolfanger Johnson of Springwater, Miss Frieda Rachael Wolfanger, also of Springwater, and Mrs. Louise Lamphier of Aurora, Illinois.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at St. Paul’s Evangelical church of Wayland, the Rev. Frederick W. Duhl officiating. Burial was in the Carney Hollow cemetery.
