Gordon Leeson, 52, of Springwater died in his car outside a filling station in Mill St., Springwater, Sunday, Feb. 15, 1953.
Livingston County Coroner Tracy C. Swan of Livonia issued a certificate of death due to a heart attack.
Mr. Leeson, long a resident of Springwater, was employed at the Gunlocke Chair Factory in Wayland for the past 12 years.
Survivors besides his widow Mary Bass Leeson of Springwater; five daughters, Nancy Leeson at home, Jean Leeson of Rochester, Mrs. Walter Miner of Rochester, Mrs. Charles Kline Jr., and Mrs. Kenneth Wolfanger, both of Springwater; a sister, Mrs. Walter Bearss of Conesus; two brothers, George Leeson of Websters Crossing and James Leeson of Conesus.
Funeral services were conducted in the Springwater Methodist Church Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. E. W. Daniels, pastor of the Springwater Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Mt. Vernon Evergreen Cemetery, Springwater.

Mrs. Gordon Leeson died at Wayland hospital on Wednesday evening, Dec. 19. She was born in the town of Springwater 50 years ago, a daughter of Allen and Ella Perkins. She was ill about four months.
She leaves her husband, Gordon, of Springwater and six children, five of whom reside in the township of Springwater: Mrs. Charles (Eileen) Kline Jr., Clarence Leeson, Mrs. Kenneth (Alice) Wolfanger, Misses Jean Leeson and Nancy Leeson. Another daughter, Mrs. Walter (Betty) Miner resides in Rochester. Two other daughters, Joyce and Joanne died in infancy. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Thomas of Holcomb: five brothers, George Perkins of Avon, Herbert of Tulsa, Okla., Palmer of Endicott, William of Bath and Edward of Newark, 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 22, at 2:30 p.m. in the Springwater Methodist church, Rev. E. W. Daniels officiating. Burial in Mt. Vernon cemetery, Springwater, near her home.
Her host of friends feel a great loss in her passing and extend their sympathy to Mr. Leeson and his family.
