Hemlock: Died peacefully at home on October 22, 2015. Predeceased by sister Adelle Connor and brother Donald Marshall. Survived by wife of 64 years Kay. Sons; Chris (Susan) Marshall of Naperville, IL and Scott (Kelly) Marshall of Livonia, and daughter Laurie (John) Parker of Newport News, VA. Grandchildren; Dianne Marshall, Lisa Marshall and Stephanie Carmella Parker. Brothers; William (Audrey) Marshall of Allens Hill, Paul (Shirley) Marshall of Hemlock. Nieces & Nephews.
A skilled carpenter, Lyle established Marshall Construction and built and remodeled many homes in the area, including his own. Lyle was a tireless worker and devoted to his family. He loved to host clam bakes and will always be remembered for his fluency in sarcasm.
Friends may call Monday, October 26th from 5-8 pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street, Routes 15 & 20A, Livonia where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Hemlock Methodist Church, The Livingston County Hospice, or The Nature Conservancy (who do work on the preservation of Hemlock Lake).

Hemlock: Peacefully at home on November 19, 2016 at age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Lyle Leo Marshall in 2015, her parents Harold & Frances (Naracong) Larned, and her sister and brother-in-law, Norma & Stanley Sherman. Survived by her sons, Chris (Susan) Marshall of Naperville, IL and Scott (Kelly) Marshall of Livonia, and daughter Laurie (John) Parker of Newport News, VA. Granddaughters; Dianne Marshall, Lisa Marshall, and Stephanie (John) Schumacher.
A lifetime learner, Kay began her career as a medical secretary and earned her LPN and then RN degrees while raising her 3 children. Active in her church, she also led Cub Scout and Girl Scout troops. Her children’s friends remember the Marshall household as a welcoming and enjoyable place to visit.
Kay’s Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 26th, at 11am at the Hemlock Methodist Church, 4616 Main Street, Hemlock, NY. Burial Union Cemetery, Livonia. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Kay’s memory to the Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
