25th Anniversary The Lima Recorder, 18 February 1954 Honeoye - Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Mastin will hold open house from 2 to 5 p.m. on February 23rd in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary. Elwin Mastin and Miss Emeline Johnson were married at the Honeoye Congregational parsonage on Februrary 23, 1929, by the Rev. Niels Madsen, now Dr. Madsen of Honeoye Falls. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson, now of Henrietta. Their first home was on the Robert Reed farm, after which they purchased their farm home (the Carlton Davis farm) 21 years ago, where they now reside. The Mastins have five children, Mrs. Joyce Buck, Mrs. Jane Washburn, John Mastin, Lester and Carl Mastin; also four grandsons. Friends and neighbors extend sincere congratulations and best wishes. The Obituary of Emeline Johnson Mastin 24 July 1911 - 6 March 1989 The Avon Herald - 15 March 1989 Honeoye - Emeline M. Mastin, 77 years of 4748 County Road 37 Honeoye died Monday March 6, 1989 in Orlando Florida after a short illness. She was born in Richmond NY July 24, 1911 the daughter of Andrew and Pearl Blair Johnson. She was a member of the Allens Hill United Methodist Chuch and the Hemlock Grange. She was predeceased by her daughter Jane Washburn of Orlando, Fla. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law Lester and Anita Mastin of Springwater, Carl and Ruth Mastin of Orem, Utah, 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, her brother Andrew Johnson of Canadiagua, several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at the Allens Hill United Methodist Church Friday with Rev. David Manly officiating. Burial, Richmond Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Allens Hill United Methodist Church, Holcomb, NY 14469.
