Canandaigua - Sunday, Mar. 26, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Floyd Cooper, in Canandaigua, occurred the death of William Proctor of Hemlock, following a year’s illness.
Mr. Proctor was the son of the late William C. and Susan Swift Proctor and was born Nov. 14, 1868, in what is called Dixon Hollow and had lived there all his life. As a young man he worked on the farm for E. H. Westbrook, but for the last twenty-five years had been an employee of the Rochester waterworks.
Mr. Proctor is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Cooper and Mrs. Aaron Dell, both of Canandaigua; five sons, Earl of Manchester, Raymond of Honeoye, and Adelbert, George and Clair of Hemlock; twenty-five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon in the Brown Funeral Home, Livonia, with burial in Union cemetery.
