Julia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Reed, died last Friday morning, after an illness of six days, aged 11 years and 8 months.
She was the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. Reed, and a universal favorite with not only children of her own age, but with all who knew her. This was shown last Sunday by the attendance at the funeral, which we believe was the largest ever called together in Livonia by the death of a child.
The Rev. Dr. Walsworth officiated, and his remarks were peculiarly appropriate to the sad occasion.
It is the first time that death has invaded Mr. and Mrs. Reed’s circle of beautiful children, and in their affliction the family has the sympathy of all.
