Stephen B. Robinson died at his home one and one-half miles south of this village, Saturday, June 17, 1911, aged 76 years, six months and nineteen days.
He was born in the town of Springwater and was all his life a resident of this town, having occupied the old homestead where he died for nearly fifty years. He was one of a family of fifteen children, five of whom survive him: Two brothers, Chas. of Wayland, and Henry Robinson of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Ann Eliza Norton of Bloomfield; Mrs. Frank Wetmore of North Cohocton and Mrs. Daniel Norton of this village.
He also leaves to mourn his loss a wife, Mrs. Sarah J. Robinson, and nine sons and daughters, Stephen Robinson, Scott Robinson, William Robinson and Norton Robinson all of this place; Mrs. Mark Lawrence, Mrs. Thomas Canute, Mrs. Arthur N. Johnson and Mrs. Jesse Richards of this place and Mrs. Adelbert Crooks of Arkport.
The funeral services were held at the house, Tuesday, June 20, at two o’clock, Rev. W. W. Dailey officiating. interment in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Sarah Collins Robinson who had lived nearly her whole life in this place died at the home of her son, Norton, in Springwater, Jan. 1st, 1915, aged 75 years and five months.
She had been ill for a number of months and her death was not unexpected.
She leaves to mourn her loss, one sister, Mrs. Mary Escott of Buffalo, four daughters, Mrs. Adelbert Crooks of Arkport, Mrs. Arthur Johnson of Geneseo, Mrs. Thomas Canute and Mrs. Clinton Benedict of Springwater, four sons, Stephen, Scott, William and Norton of Springwater, nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband Stephen B. Robinson, one son and two daughters have preceded her to the land beyond.
