Mrs. Charles Snyder passed away at her home in this village Sunday morning after a week’s sickness. She had a stroke of apoplexy a week ago last Friday morning and was unconscious up to the time of her death.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith and was born fifty-seven years ago in Germany. She came to this country when she was about 16 years old.
She married to Nicholas Wolfanger and one son was born to them, Nicholas, Jr., of this village. His father died when he was about three years old. She then was united in marriage to Charles Snyder of this village and two daughters were born to them, Mrs. George Robinson and Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson, both of this place.
Four grandchildren and one brother, Martin Smith of the town of Lima, also survive.
Funeral services were held at her home Wednesday at 2 o’clock, Rev. W L. Deighton officiating and burial was in Mt. Vernon cemetery.
