Springwater - George Tucker, 75, former Sparta resident, passed away at 7 o’clock this morning at his farm home in Springwater. He had been in ill health for several years, but his condition was not regarded as critical until Sunday.
Surviving are his widow, Jettie Tucker; one daughter Mrs. Harry Randall of Conesus; to sons, Willard at home and Walter Tucker of South Lima; to grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Frank Shafer an two brothers Leonard and Arnold Tucker, all of Sparta.
Springwater - George B. Tucker of Springwater, died at his home on the Canadice road last Friday at the age of nearly 74 years. Mr. Tucker, who was a former resident of Sparta, had been in poor health for several years.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harry Randall of Conesus; two sons, Willard at home and Walter of South Lima; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Augusta Shafer of Sparta; two brothers, Leonard and Arnold Tucker of Sparta, also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. R. H. Draffin of Livonia officiating, and burial was in the Sparta Center cemetery.
Springwater - Funeral services for George B. Tucker, 75, who died June 4 at his home on the Canadice road, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the home with burial in Sparta Center cemetery.
Mr. Tucker was born in Rushville, but resided most of his life at Sparta, until two years ago when he moved to his late home.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Willard at home, Walter of South Lima and Mrs. Harry Randall of Conesus, two brothers, Leonard and Arnold of Sparta, and one sister, Mrs. Augusta Shaver, also of Sparta.

Springwater - Mrs. Jettie Ann Tucker, 83, died Friday (Dec. 4, 1964) in the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Jacob Canute of Harper’s Ferry Rd., Springwater, following a long illness.
She was a member of the Sparta Center Methodist Church and a member of the W.S.C.S. of that church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Gladys) Randall of Springwater; two sons, Willard Tucker of Livonia and Walter Tucker of Scottsburg; a brother, Merrill Reed Crooks of Springwater; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted in the Baird Funeral Home, Wayland, yesterday by the Rev. Thomas Hoogerland.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Springwater.
