Wayland - Judson Walker, a life-long resident of this section, died at his home in this village yesterday morning about 11:00 o’clock as the result of a stroke sustained Monday night, from which he did not recover consciousness.
Mr. Walker, who was 73 years of age, was the son of William and Mercy Gates Walker and was born in the town of Springwater.
For many years he resided on a farm east of this village, but since selling same some years ago, he had resided in this village. His wife, Julia Bill Walker, died October 22, 1929.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Fred Mehlenbacher of Wayland, Mrs. J. H. Dougherty of Binghamton and Mrs. Howard P. Babcock of Hornell.
Remains were taken to the Allen funeral home and later to his late home, where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. E. W. Bittner officiating.

Wayland - Mrs. Julia M. Walker, wife of Judson E. Walker of this village died at the Strong Memorial hospital, Rochester, Tuesday morning, aged 61 years.
Mrs. Walker had been in declining health for some time and was taken to the hospital recently for observation. An operation was performed last week, but her condition was such that recovery was not possible.
Mrs. Walker was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Nicholas Bill, and was born in Wayland May 19, 1868, in which town she had always resided. In September, 1886, she was married to Judson E. Walker, who survives her, together with three daughters, Mrs. Fred Mehlenbacher of Wayland, Mrs. John Dougherty of Binghamton and Mrs. Howard Babcock of Hornell, also seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the home this afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. C. A. Whitehead officiating.
Mrs. Walker was a woman devoted to her family, universally liked, with a wide circle of friends and will be greatly missed in the community.
