Canadice, NY - After nearly a year of intense suffering, Job Francisco, whose illness has been mentioned, died on Friday last.
Mr. Francisco was a son of Jacob Francisco, one of the pioneers of the town, and was born Nov. 21, 1831, and always lived in this town.
When a young man he married Maria Backenstose, and to them were born four children: Mrs. Estella Katner, Mrs. Nellie Thomas, Miss Ida Francisco and Henry Francisco, the three younger children having preceded the father, leaving but the one daughter and the aged and infirm companion who so long had shared life’s joys and sorrows.
Mr. Francisco is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Delia Brogan of Hemlock, and one brother, Solomon Francisco of Richmond. Mr. Francisco was a man known for his integrity of character, a strong temperance man, a kindly neighbor and a faithful friend.
The funeral was held from the house on Monday at 12 o’clock, Rev. Joseph Clark officiating. Interment at Canadice cemetery.

Canadice, NY - The death of Mrs. Marie Trowbridge Francisco occurred at the home of her grandson, Frank Katner, on Friday evening, after a long and painful illness.
Mrs. Francisco was born in West Bloomfield on Jan. 1, 1831, and except for a few years, passed in Ohio when a child, had resided in the towns of Richmond and Canadice her entire life.
She was married to Job Francisco when a young woman, and her life had been a busy and useful one. Four children were born to them, Mrs. Estella Katner, of this town, and Henry, Mrs. Nellie Thomas and Miss Ida Francisco, the three latter with the father having preceded the mother to the home above.
She was a kind neighbor and will be missed by a large circle of friends. The funeral was held from the church on Monday afternoon, Rev. G. C. Bucher officiating. The Ladies Aid of which she was a member, attended in a body.
Burial was made in Canadice cemetery among many beautiful flowers.
