W. Gideon Harder of Federal Rd., Livonia passed away at his home Thursday, Mar. 27, 1975.
Mr. Harder was born in Livonia, Dec. 3, 1901, the son of Gideon and Inez Smith Harder Sr.
He was a former member of the Hemlock Baptist Church and was an employee of the Town of Livonia Highway Department for 22 years, since his retirement he had continued his hobby of raising ponies and farming.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Carpenter Harder; three sons, Leon and Frederick, both of Livonia, and Charles of Lakeville; two daughters, Mrs. John (Catherine) Bratcher of Conesus and Mrs. Howard (Mary) Farley of Livonia; twenty four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Grace Carpenter and several nisces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Brown Funeral Home, Monday. Mar. 31.
Interment was in the Harder Cemetery in Livonia.
