Marriage of Kenneth Ingraham and Margaret Connors

Miss Margaret Vivian Connors, daughter of Mrs. Clarence Moretter of Piffard, and Kenneth Marchus Ingraham, son of Mrs. Floyd Caskey of Springwater, were united in marriage in St. Michael’s Episcopal church in Geneseo Thursday, August 6, 1936, at 4:00 p.m., by the Rev. J. W. Denness Cooper, rector.

Wedding music was played on the organ by Mrs. Myron L. Northrup of Geneseo.

The bride wore a gown of shell pink embroidered organza, with blue picture hat and shoes, and carried an arm bouquet of talisman roses, lilies of the valley, blue statice and gypsophilia, tied with blue ribbons.

Her twin, Mrs. Maurice Coffey, of Avon, was bridesmaid, and wore a gown of delphinium blue taffeta with pink picture hat and shoes, and carried an arm bouquet of roses, blue statice, annual larkspur and gypsophilia, tied with pink ribbons.

John J. Connors of Almond, brother of the bride, was best man, and Ellis B. Hyde and Frederick S. Holmes of Springwater, were ushers.

The couple left by motor for a wedding trip through the eastern part of the state. They will live on School street, Springwater.

The Obituary of Kenneth M. Ingraham

1913 - 14 January 1975

Kenneth M. Ingraham, 61, of Springwater died Tuesday (Jan. 14, 1975) in Noyes Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.

A native of Canadice, he had lived in Springwater for 38 years.

He was employed at Gunlocke Co., Inc. in Wayland and was a member of the Wayland Masonic Lodge and Springwater Rod and Gun Club.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Ingraham; two sons, Ronald of Springwater and Stephen of Canandaigua; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Meese of Rush; three grandchildren; and his mother, Mrs. Anna C. Caskey of Springwater.

A funeral service was conducted Friday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home in Wayland. A memorial service was conducted that evening in the Springwater United Methodist Church. Burial was in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Springwater.

Memorial contributions are being received by the Methodist Church and the Springwater Ambulance Corps.

Mrs. Margaret V. Ingraham, 60, of Springwater died Wednesday (Jan. 19, 1977) in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, following a brief illness.

A native of Piffard, she had lived in the Springwater area for the past 40 years.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald of Springwater and Stephen Ingraham of Canadaigua; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Meese of Rush; two brothers, Howard Connors and William Moretter, both of Rochester; a sister, Mrs. Mary Coffey of Avon; and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was conducted Friday in the Springwater Methodist Church. Burial was in Springwater Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Fund, the Springwater Methodist Memorial Fund of the Springwater Ambulance Corp.
