Springwater - The people of Springwater were greatly saddened to hear of the death of Floyd Ingraham at the Colonial hospital in Dansville early Thursday morning.
Mr. Ingrahamm was taken very ill Monday morning with an attack of appendicitis. He was rushed to the hospital, where an operation was performed that night. Peritonitis later set in and caused his death.
Floyd Ingraham was the older son of Marcus J. and Nettie Ford Ingraham. He was born in Springwater Oct. 14th, 1881, and died Jan., 22, 1920, aged 38 years, 3 months and 8 days. He had lived here all his life, where he was greatly liked.
September 1, 1909, he was united in marriage to Anna Cork, who, with a little son, Kenneth, survives him.
Besides his wife and son he leaves to mourn his loss his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Ingraham; a brother, Otto of Buffalo, also a large circle of other relatives. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral services were held from the home of his parents Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, Rev. George Stone of the Wayland Advent church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Tallant, pastor of the Methodist church of Springwater.
The Odd Fellow and Maccabee lodges, of which the deceased was a member, attended in bodies. The burial was in Mt. Vernon Evergreen cemetery.

Springwater - A funeral service was conducted Sunday in the Springwater United Methodist Church for Mrs. Anna E. Caskey, 90, of Springwater who died Thursday (July 16, 1981) in Thompson Community Hospital, Canandaigua, following a long illness.
A native and life resident of the Springwater area, she was the widow of Floyd Caskey. She was a member of the Springwater United Methodist Church and the Springwater Grange. She was a Springwater area social columnist for the EXPRESS for many years.
Surviving are a granddaughter, Mrs. Patrice Neese of Rush; two grandsons, Ronald Ingraham of Springwater and Stephen Ingraham of Rochester; a step-daughter, Mrs. Golda Harrington of Livonia; a step-son, Clyde Caskey of Springwater; five step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Springwater. Funeral arrangements were by the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home in Wayland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Springwater United Methodist Church.
