Canadice - John T. Winch, an old resident of Canadice, died of pneumonia after a short illness at his home in Hillsdale, Michigan, on the 24th ult, at the age of 51.
His early life was spent here, and for a long time back the summer months found him each year at the old home.
He leaves a wife, Antoinnetta Fuller of Hillsdale, an aged mother, Mrs. Jane Winch, one brother Wilbur Winch, two sisters, Miss Emma Winch and Mrs. A. H. Tibbals.
The funeral was held on Friday, December 27, at North Adams, Michigan, the pastor of the Hillsdale Baptist church, of which he was a member, officiating.

Hillsdale MI - Mrs. Mary Antoinetta Winch, 87, for nearly forty years a resident of Hillsdale city, and a lifelong resident of Hillsdale county, passed away last night at her home, 177 North West street.
The oldest child of Charles E. and Phoebe Burger Fuller, the deceased was born in Adams township, October 7, 1865.
She received her elementary education in the county schools and attended Hillsdale College. For a time she taught in the district schools.
On April 3, 1888 she was united in marriage with John T. Winch of Springwater, N. Y., and he preceded her in death in December 1912. No children were born to the union.
Mrs. Winch was a member of the First Baptist church here, and active in its various organizations as long as her health permitted.
Surviving are a sister, Miss Helen Fuller, and a brother, Edwin S. Fuller, both of Hillsdale; and five nieces, Mrs. Leo W. Eddy of Casper, Wyo., Mrs. Earl LaCore of Hillsdale, Mrs. Vivian Noble of Long Beach Calif., Miss Jean Fuller of Hillsdale,and Mrs. George Globensky of Chicago.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Miner Funeral home. The Rev. David L. Rieder will officiate, and interment will be in the North Adams cemetery.
