Springwater - Funeral services for Edward H. Withington, 81, who died at his home in Rochester on Saturday, were conducted from the Ludwig Funeral Parlors here Monday afternoon. Burial was in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Springwater.
Mr. Withington, son of the late Nathaniel and Della Wright Withington, was born in this community and spent the early part of hs life here. Following his marriage to Miss Stella Norton in 1885, he moved to Rochester where he was employed for a number of years by the Erie Railroad Company. In 1900 he entered the retail coal business in Rochester under the firm name of Smith & Withington, and later was associated with the Gatley Coal Company.
Surviving are his widow and one son, Paul Withington, of Rochester.

Townes, pastor of the Methodit Church, officiating. Burial was in Mount Vernon Evergreen Cemetery, Springwater.
Mr. Withington was born in Springwater, Oct. 22, 1861, the son of the late Nathaniel and Delia Wright Withington, and spent the early part of his life here.
