Walter Westbrook, one of the oldest and best-known residents of the town of Livonia, died at his home at Hemlock last Sunday at the age of 74 years. Mr. Westbrook had been in poor health for a long time, and his death was not wholly unlooked for.
The funeral services were held from the house Tuesday, the Rev. Mr. Day officiating. Mr. Westbrook had a large circle of acquaintances and friends, by whom he will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Sarah Densmore Westbrook, widow of Walter Westbrook, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Thurston of Honeoye, Saturday at the age of 74.
She is survived by six sons and daughters, Mrs. O. A. Short and Mrs. Thurston of Honeoye, Mrs. L. L. Short of Hemlock, Mrs. C. G. Pemberton of Livonia, E. H. Westbrook of Hemlock and H. L. Westbrook of Rochester. Two brothers, H. H. Densmore of Springwater and D. L. Densmore of Owasso, Mich., also survive her.
The funeral was held Tuesday at 1 o’clock from the Methodist church at Hemlock, the Rev. Mr. Richmire of North Cohocton officiating. The burial was in the Union cemetery.
Mrs. Westbrook had been in feeble health for several months, owing principally to her age. She had lived at Hemlock or in its vicinity almost her entire life and was held in the highest regard by all her acquaintances.
