Canadice - After a long illness, Mrs. Adeline Kingsley, aged 82, died Sept. 4th at the home of her son Walter in Victor.
Mrs. Kingsley was born in Canadice and lived here nearly all her life. She was the daughter of Alva and Esther Doolittle, who were among the early settlers of Canadice.
She married Addison Kingsley, who died about sixteen years ago. Seven or eight years ago she went to live with her son in Victor, where she was tenderly cared for by him and his wife. She was an invalid many years, but her faith reached out for the home above where pain never enters.
She leaves four sons, Newton of Rochester, Fred of Richmond, Charles of Perington, and Walter of Victor; also three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Gillette of Victor, Mrs. Estey of Syracuse, and Mrs. Jennie Doolittle of Naples.
