From the Lima Recorder, 23 February 1921.

James H. Baldwin, died Thursday evening in Geneva, following a shock. He was born in Grass Lake, Mich., March 19, 1846, the son of Waterman and Mary Raymond Baldwin. Burial was at Canadice.

Canadice - The funeral of James Baldwin of Geneva was held from the Canadice M. E. church on Sunday.

Mr. Baldwin was seventy-eight and formerly lived here. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. H. C. Smith of Kansas City and one brother, Guy, of Geneva, besides nephews and nieces.

Rev. Swarthout of the Baptist church conducted the services, with burial in the Canadice cemetery beside his son.
