The Obituary of Mary A. Jackman Crooks

Canadice Lake - The death of Mrs. Mary Crooks, 81, widow of the late William Crooks, occurred on Saturday morning, March 21, at her home near Christian Church Corners.

She was the daughter of the late Wiley and Emily Jackman who was born and had resided in the vicinity all of her life.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Dora Shetler of Wayland; a daughter, Mrs. Jettie Tucker, and a son, Merle R. Crooks, with whom she had lived; three grandchildren, Mrs. Gladys Randall and Millard Becker of Livonia, and Walter Becker of Scottsburg, and four great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted from the home at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. Wallace Neville of Springwater officiating, with burial at Evergreen cemetery.
