The Obituary of James P. Ace

1909 - 6 February 1970

From the Lima Recorder, 11 February 1970

A funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 9 for James Ace of Lima, who died in Strong Memorial Hospital, Feb. 6, 1970.

Mr. Ace was a former resident of Hemlock NY.

Mr. Ace was a resident of Lima for about twenty-two years, and was employed at the Pinco plant.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Edna Mallaber of Mt. Morris, Mrs. Margaret Briggs (his twin sister) of Hemlock, Mr. Mabel Coykendall of Hemlock; five brothers, Leon of Florida, Elmer of Wayland, Woodrow of Honeoye, Ora of Lima, Harold of California; nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Harold VanHorn officiated, with interment at the convenience of the family in Lakeview Cemetery in Honeoye.

Arrangements were by the O’Connell Funeral Home in Lima.
