The wedding took place Saturday, July 9, in the Congregational church at Honeoye, the Rev. P. L. Graham, pastor officiating. Melvin Coykendall of Hemlock sang “Because”, “I Love You Truly” and the “Lord’s Prayer.”

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hoppough of Hemlock, wore white tulle and chantilly lace over satin with finertip veil. Mrs. John Shea of Rochester, classmate of the bride at Genesoo State Teachers College was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Maureen Curry of Attica also a classmate of the bride, and Diane Hoppough, sister of the bride. They wore identical gowns of French blue lace and net and carried garnet sweetheart roses surrounded by white carnations.

Arthur Treble was best man for his brother, and the ushers were Ezra Barrett and John Carrier. A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony.
