The Obituary of Gordon L. Hoppough

30 June 1908 - 9 November 1984

Gordon L. Hoppough of Hemlock died in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Nov. 19, 1984. Mr. Hoppough was born June 30, 1908, the son of William and Grace Wemett Hoppough.

A veteran of World War II, Mr. Hoppough had been a supervisor with the New York State Department of Transportation prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Margaret) Treble and Jean Hamilton, both of Honeoye, and Diane Case of South Carolina; sons, William of Hemlock and Robert of Honeoye; a sister, Thelma Hoppough of Hemlock a nice Betty Mayer of Rochester, 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A service was held on Nov. 23 at the Brown-Drowne Funeral Home in Livonia with interment in Union Cemetery.
